Your Support Means Everything
Simply put, your donations to the LMPF General Fund make the LMPF work. As a fully independent organization, we must count on donors to help fund much-needed training, equipment and programs to keep our community and officers as safe as possible.
Summit Wellness Center
Established with the goal of providing a holistic wellness center for our law enforcement and first responder community, the Summit Wellness Center for First Responders provides physical therapy and rehabilitation services, mental health services, financial counseling, spiritual, social support and more for our officers and their families.
Officer in Distress
The Officer in Distress Fund provides financial support and helps our officers stay focused when they’re challenged with catastrophic circumstances, on or off the job.

Remembering Michelle Rusch
We are heartbroken to share the passing of Detective Michelle Rusch, who served LMPD for over 10 years in the Crimes Against Children Unit. Michelle was a fierce advocate for child victims of abuse and was recently honored with the 2025 Legendary Partner Award for her outstanding work.
Nick Wilt
During the mass shooting at Old National Bank in 2023, Rookie Officer Nick Wilt was shot and suffered a traumatic brain injury while bravely trying to save others. Today, Nick’s long rehabilitation continues – with the help of your generous support.
